We have 12 Year Round Events in the Beaverton Hillsboro area. CAN YOU WALK ALL 12 IN 2012? We're putting together the challenge cards right now and deciding on the award for meeting our challenge. Input is welcome.
We'll make this challenge really simple. At the first Cedar Miler YRE you do, pick up a free challenge card from the box at the start point. When you finish all 12 walks, regardless of when in 2012, you've done them, drop off the completed challenge card in the box at the 12th walk start point. Can't make it much easier than that! Wow, I can't believe it's November already and I am so far behind on keeping visitors up to date on Cedar Miler activities. Today, we hosted the Wednesday Walkers. ABout 40 people showed up to walk, 30 in the 10K group, 6 in the "fast" 5K group and that many or more in the "slow" 5K group. We did our Hidden Pathways of Beaverton walk...downtown, through multiple neighborhood pathways, back to the downtown area. The group started at Cedar Hills Crossing. Next Saturday, Nov 19th, we are hosting a another group walk, this time, Commonwealth Lake. Everyone is invited!
