Beaverton Parks and Birthday Bash Walk 07/23/2008
We were really happy with the turnout of 213 walkers. Our birthday hat contest winners were Marge Bergeron, Rozy Weatherby, Beverly Harmon, Bonnie Mitchell, and Patty MacIntosh. Our volunteers deserve a great deal of credit for their enthusiasm, friendliness, and professionalism! Monday, August 2nd, start at 6:30PM. Meet outside the World Forestry Center, 4033 SW Canyon Rd, Portland. From Hwy 26, take the zoo exit (Exit 72); the Forestry Center at the upper left corner of the zoo parking lot, or better yet, ride MAX to the Washington Park stop and take the elevator to the top.
