Monday Night Walks 06/14/2010
Our second Monday evening stroll was enjoyed by 10 walkers. We stopped on one of the street corners and held a short club meeting. We decided to host a walk from the PCC Rock Creek campus on the Saturday of the first weekend in November, and to continue the Monday evening walks. Monday, August 30th, start at 6:30PM. Meet at the Tualatin Fire and Rescue Station #66, 13900 SW Brockman Rd, Beaverton, OR. From Hwy 26, We recommend you avoid Hwy 217 due to traffic and take the Murray Rd exit south (left off ramp) instead. About 5 miles later, Turn LEFT onto Brockman Rd, the fire station is about 1/2 mile from the turn. (You've gone too far on Murray if you come to Scholls Ferry Road). Park in the school parking lot please. Good idea to bring a flashlight or wear reflective clothing as it's getting dark by the end of the walk . We do have a 5K version of this walk!
