Weight Watchers Walk-IT and RAIN 06/05/2010
Just in case you check here....volkswalkers are oblivious to weather. We walk in the rain. That's what raincoats and umbrellas are for. So if it rains come Sunday morning, JUN 6TH, we'll be there and we hope you will be too!!!! Actually it is kind of fun to get wet. You can even practice quacking like a duck! Monday, August 30th, start at 6:30PM. Meet at the Tualatin Fire and Rescue Station #66, 13900 SW Brockman Rd, Beaverton, OR. From Hwy 26, We recommend you avoid Hwy 217 due to traffic and take the Murray Rd exit south (left off ramp) instead. About 5 miles later, Turn LEFT onto Brockman Rd, the fire station is about 1/2 mile from the turn. (You've gone too far on Murray if you come to Scholls Ferry Road). Park in the school parking lot please. Good idea to bring a flashlight or wear reflective clothing as it's getting dark by the end of the walk . We do have a 5K version of this walk!
