Cedar Milers Issue 2012 Challenge! 11/10/2011
We have 12 Year Round Events in the Beaverton Hillsboro area. CAN YOU WALK ALL 12 IN 2012? We're putting together the challenge cards right now and deciding on the award for meeting our challenge. Input is welcome. We'll make this challenge really simple. At the first Cedar Miler YRE you do, pick up a free challenge card from the box at the start point. When you finish all 12 walks, regardless of when in 2012, you've done them, drop off the completed challenge card in the box at the 12th walk start point. Can't make it much easier than that! February Meeting: Monday, Feb 13th, 6:30pm at the Cedar Mill Community Library near Cornell & Saltzman...meeting rooms upstairs. Notice! PLease be advised that we do NOT allow solicitation during our walk events. Our members information is NOT available to any solicitor for any reason and may NOT be used for anything other than Cedar Miler business. Thank you! Membership Membership in the Cedar Milers is free. You are only asked to volunteer to work a 2 hour shift at 1 of our walks each year. Remember you do not have to be a member of any club to participate in volkssports anywhere. We will post a membership form shortly, but in the meantime, log onto www.ava.org, click on Find Walking Clubs, then Oregon, then scroll down to Portland addresses to Cedar Milers Volkssport Club and you'll find our contact info there...just send us an email with your name, address, phone, email, and birthdate (year not required) and you are IN!
