Time flies by so FAST!!! 11/10/2011
Wow, I can't believe it's November already and I am so far behind on keeping visitors up to date on Cedar Miler activities. Today, we hosted the Wednesday Walkers. ABout 40 people showed up to walk, 30 in the 10K group, 6 in the "fast" 5K group and that many or more in the "slow" 5K group. We did our Hidden Pathways of Beaverton walk...downtown, through multiple neighborhood pathways, back to the downtown area. The group started at Cedar Hills Crossing. Next Saturday, Nov 19th, we are hosting a another group walk, this time, Commonwealth Lake. Everyone is invited! CommentsLeave a Reply | CategoriesMeeting
February Meeting: Monday, Feb 13th, 6:30pm at the Cedar Mill Community Library near Cornell & Saltzman...meeting rooms upstairs. Notice! PLease be advised that we do NOT allow solicitation during our walk events. Our members information is NOT available to any solicitor for any reason and may NOT be used for anything other than Cedar Miler business. Thank you! Membership Membership in the Cedar Milers is free. You are only asked to volunteer to work a 2 hour shift at 1 of our walks each year. Remember you do not have to be a member of any club to participate in volkssports anywhere. We will post a membership form shortly, but in the meantime, log onto www.ava.org, click on Find Walking Clubs, then Oregon, then scroll down to Portland addresses to Cedar Milers Volkssport Club and you'll find our contact info there...just send us an email with your name, address, phone, email, and birthdate (year not required) and you are IN!
